নগরীর পথে পথে ঘড় খোজা হল শুধু,
হলো না কো বাঁধা।
গাড় কুয়াশার চাদর ছিঁড়ে,
দেখেছি শুধু বিষাক্ত পার্থেনিয়াম ঝোপ,
দেখা হল না – শরতের ঘাসে শিউলির স্তুপ ।
মাটির টানে , কলমির ঘ্রানে –
ফিরে ফিরে আসি পাড়াগাঁয়ে নির্বাসিত চেতনায়।
এখানে হাইরাইজে আকাশ ছোঁয়ার কোনো তারা নেই –
নেই চৌরাস্তায় শ্যাটলের চিৎকার;
