Balurghat L. M. A. U. Vidyalaya is located on a sprawling 3-acre campus with a 5-acre school ground, providing a spacious and green environment for our students to learn and grow. We have a dedicated computer lab and an ATAL Lab, which is the first of its kind in the district. Our school has two playgrounds, which are integral to the school’s infrastructure.
The first playground is located in the center of the campus, and it is utilized for various activities, including morning prayers, cultural events, and NCC. Additionally, the playground is utilized for student recreation during tiffin hours.
The second playground, which is located near Ramkrishna Palli, spans over five acres and is used for annual sports events.

The hostel at Balurghat L. M. A. U. Vidyalaya is located inside the school building on the ground floor. It can accommodate up to 30 students and is supervised by a hostel superintendent. The hostel provides three meals a day and ensures that students have a comfortable and safe living environment. Students who live in the hostel have easy access to all the school facilities, such as the library, computer lab, and playground. The hostel is a great option for students who live far away from the school or need a more structured living environment.
Balurghat L. M. A. U. Vidyalaya boasts a well-stocked library with over 1000 books. The library has a dedicated librarian to assist students and teachers. The books include various categories such as syllabus books, Bengali storybooks, novels, and other informative books. Additionally, our school is the first in the district to have an ATAL Lab under the Atal Innovation Mission of the Government of India. This flagship initiative aims to nurture an innovative mindset among high school students across India. The ATAL lab is equipped with electronic devices, tools, and equipment to support students in exploring and developing new ideas and technologies.
